Automatic backups not running for some servers (Ashburn)

   We've identified an issue where automatic nightly backups were not being created for game servers hosted on our Ashburn nodes (ASH-MC-1 and ASH-MC-2) since September 12, when these servers were moved to Ashburn. A small number of servers on other locations are also affected. Your server files and live data are not affected. This concerns backup copies only. The cause has been identified and corrected: the Ashburn nodes were not included in the nightly backup schedule. Automatic backups for all affected servers will resume with tonight's scheduled run at 00:00 UTC. We are also verifying that backups created before these servers moved to Ashburn remain available for restore. If you'd like an up-to-date backup right now, you can create one at any time from your server's Backups page using Create backup. We'll post another update once tonight's backup run has completed and been verified.

   The fix has been applied and tonight's scheduled backup run has completed. Automatic backups ran successfully for all servers on our Ashburn nodes (ASH-MC-1 and ASH-MC-2) as well as every other location, and all of them are stored offsite. Automatic backups now always cover every node, so new locations can't be missed again. A small number of servers that were excluded by their plan's backup settings will be included from the next nightly run. Your existing backups remain available, and you can create an up-to-date copy at any time from your server's Backups page. We're monitoring the next nightly runs before resolving this incident.
